Student Success Statement #21

"I think it better to do right, even if we suffer in so doing, than to incur the reproach of our consciences."
- Robert E. Lee

Reflection: It is 110% true. We should always to do the correct thing and never even let our minds think of doing anything else. Just as certain staff here at HPIAM does. They always follow the rules set for us and don't think otherwise. It makes us brave people whenever we do what's right because we don't care about what consequences may come from it.

Student Success Statement #20

"Tell me what is right and I will fight for it."
-Woodrow Wilson

Reflection: It is amazing what this man said. It is important to fight for what is right rather than to fight for one's own greed. One example would be how criminals kill people sometimes because they are against them. All the criminals want is the money and status of power. I only wish to do good in the world and cause no harm to anyone. But if I am pursuing something for the greater good and there are obstacles to accomplish that, I would have to fight my way to finish it.

Dialysis Technicians

Dialysis Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dialysis Technicians operate machines that remove waste and excess fluids from the blood of patients whose kidneys can no longer carry out those functions. Dialysis technicians are also referred to as renal dialysis technicians, hemodialysis technicians, or nephrology technicians. They work under the supervision of physicians, primarily in hospitals and clinics.
Dialysis technicians must fully understand the operation, cleaning, and sterilization. They must also fully understand their patients’ needs. Dialysis technicians carefully monitor and record weight and vital sign before, during, and after blood cleansing procedures. Additionally, they instruct patients about in-home treatments. Because dialysis technicians work with blood, they must exercise strict safety precautions against infectious diseases such as hepatitis and AIDS.

Student Success Statement #19

"The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character."
-Margaret Chase Smith
Reflection: This is entirely true. One who stands up for what is right is the person that shows courage. Courage because not many people would stand up for it because of the fear of being criticized by society. It is an amazing feeling when does because you feel like a noble person doing things right.

My Experience So Far at HPIAM

My experience so far at HPIAM has been amazing. I have great teachers and amazing friends. I really love the music class when we start playing because it just relieves any stress that I have at the moment. It is an amazing school filled with great people. I really appreciate all the work that Mr.C and the rest of the staff does to keep this school running the way it should be.
