"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush. It can color any situation."
- Anonymous

Reflection: It really is. Many times the whole outcome of the situation can be simply based on attitude. Many times have I been in a situation in which my attitude has helped me succeed and live a better life. It allows to have a open mind and thinking positively helps with positive results.

Attitude

What is attitude?
Attitude is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.

Synonyms for Attitude:

View
Outlook
Perspective
Temper
Approach
Position
Example of a Good Attitude
If someone beats you at a game of basketball, you congratulate them for a good win or tell them "Good game"

Example of a Bad Attitude
Getting angry just because you lost in a video game or sport.

Periodontist

Periodontist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Periodontists treat patients with gum disease and other issues in the gums and bones surrounding the jaws. Work may be surgical or non-surgical and might include tasks like placing implants, developing grafts or reductions to alter the way a person’s smile looks. Part of the job might also be to help patients resolve issues like tooth sensitivity.

Average Salary: $270,000

Education:
Becoming a periodontist starts along the same path as becoming a dentist. You need to complete dental school followed by a residency in periodontics. Admission to dental school usually entails passage of the Dental Admissions Test and at least two years of prior college study, but it's common for students to earn bachelor's degrees before gaining admission. You might earn your degree in an area of science, which may prepare you for the extensive science coursework required in dental school; however, a degree in any major is usually acceptable as long as you meet science prerequisites.

I do not believe I would enjoy being periodontist because I do not believe I would enjoy looking a person’s mouth constantly.

They begin to gain the idea that hurting people in okay because he/she sees their friends hurting people and they are fine so they begin to think it is okay to hurt others.

You need to get up and go do some push-ups and run and jump and lift in order to become healthier and have a nice body. It may be difficult and take some time but be patient and have the willpower to succeed in your attempt to complete your goals.

Many people believe promises shall only be kept so long as the person is there with them. When he went on a trip with a colonel, the colonel asked him if he would drink with him and smoke with him. Lincoln said no because he knew that he had made a promise to his mother and wasn't planning on breaking that promise anytime soon.

"Kindness is the essence of greatness."
- Joseph B. Wirthlin

Reflection: I do see many people with things that make others think that a person has a great life. Many times that person is sad and miserable but they don't know why. What they need is to show kindness. Many rich people that have families that love them and they show the love in return are much happier than wealthy single men. I am in the humanitarian club at my school and I gladly and honestly say that others happiness makes me happy because I know that they are enjoying a life that others sometimes cannot. One of the most previous fundraisers we did was to help bring a clean water source to a village in Africa.

I made it into Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps and I'm proud to know that I didn't give up. And I'm not stopping there. I will practice until I make it into a world class corps like Blue Devils or The Cadets. If I didn't imagine myself doing this then I never would have joined.

They do not understand that a real man is one that respects another person even if he disrespects him. A man treats everyone with respects as well as himself.
