"Right is right only when entire."
- Victor Hugo

Reflection: You can not say what you do is right if there is an expected compensation for it. Such as if someone helps out someone with money to be nice only to be repaid with interest. Or like if someone plays basketball for a small team and to be paid for his work. One thing I do consider right is how Kobe Bryant took a pay cut to continue to play for the Lakers franchise.

"That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do. Not that the nature of the thing has changed but that our power to do has increased."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection: One of my favorite trumpet players is named Arturo Sandoval. He has won many Grammy's for his amazing talent. He has been playing since he was 13 and made the Cuban All-Nation Band when he was only 16 years old. He said that he would practice night and day because he loved practice and the instrument itself. He still gets compliments on YouTube today on his videos and he replies by thanking everyone and giving him the motivation to continue to practice even though he is known as one of the best if not the best trumpet player currently.

When You Tell One Lie by Paul Hatch

When you tell one lie, it leads to another
So you tell two lies to cover each other
Then you tell three lies and , Oh Brother,
You're in trouble up to your ears!

So you tell four lies to try to protect you
Then you tell five lies so folks won't suspect you
Then you tell six lies and you'll collect
A life filled with worries and fears

'Cause you can't remember how many lies you've told
And half of the things you say aren't true
And sometime you'll slip up, you'll trip up and then
Whatever will become of you?

So you lie and lie without even trying
And each lie you tell will keep multiplying
'Till the whole wide world will know you're lying
Then you'll be
Suspected
Detected
Rejected
Neglected
Disliked
And you should!
When you lie, you're closing the door
On everything good

"Your worth consists of what you are and not in what you have."
- Thomas Edison

Reflection: I completely have to agree with the words of Mr. Edison. People nowadays have a net worth set by Forbes magazine. But I cannot agree with the worth that a magazine sets for someone. Material items cannot determine the kind of person I am, but it is the way I act and treat others that determine my worth. Being an actor that makes substantial amounts of money would never be, in my eyes, worth more than a person that devotes themselves to the well being of others.

Psychiatric Aide – Technician

Psychiatric Aide – Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Psychiatric aides and technicians help care for the mentally ill, disabled, or infirm people who are confined to hospitals, mental facilities, and residential care facilities. They work under the supervision of mental health professionals or nurses. They often work in hospitals, social service centers, crisis centers, schools, and substance abuse facilities. Psychiatric technicians usually have more formal training and responsibilities than aides. Psychiatric aides and technicians often:
·        Help patients with hygiene and eating
·        Escort patients around the clinics and facilities
·        Aid or restrain patients
·        Help with orientation and housekeeping
·        Interview patients or families
·        Observe patients and report their actions to professionals
·        Teaching daily living skills
·        Dispensing medication
·        Engaging in educational and recreational activities

Average Salary: $12,000 - $24,000

Educational Requirements:
Psychiatric aides do not always require a high school diploma or formal training, but an employer would prefer that an applicant has both.
Psychiatric technicians need a high school diploma or formal training and should have taken courses in English and science. A short training course or previous job experience as a psychiatric aide is often also required.

I would not like to be a psychiatric aide or technician because it is not the type of work I would enjoy in the medical field.

"The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in DETERMINATION."
- Tommy Lasorda

Reflection: Many people give up because something may be too hard or they may even say it is impossible. People don't actually look into trying their hardest and with their all to make it possible. Men can even become women if they truly wanted to. I really try hard to play higher and higher notes on my trumpet even though it causes my head and lips to ache. Being determined brings success.
