Psychologist study the behavior of people to understand their way of living and to possibly explain and change their behavioral patterns. They also provide counseling and therapy to those who have emotional, learning, and behavior problems. They can work in schools, hospitals, and even have private practice. Their duties often include:
·        Diagnosing and treating problems
·        Interviewing and observing patients

·        Counseling patients, groups, and families
·        Developing mental health programs

Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging courses in HS which include AP and IB classes, especially those that focus in on English and Mathematics
A licensed psychologist must earn a PH.D in psychology. Admission to graduate programs is usually dependent on the quality of undergraduate performance in a psychology major. Clinical psychologists must complete a two-year supervised internship after earning their doctorate and pass oral and written state exams.
Those who wish to work in a school must earn at least a master’s degree in psychology.

I was interested in becoming a psychologist before because it if very interesting to know more about human behavior.
